Rogue Climate is offering a<\/span> free <\/span>2024 Youth Climate Activism Workshop Series<\/span> <\/span>for youth in Coos County! <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n This workshop series is for all youth who live on the South Coast and want to make a change in your community around environmental and social justice issues.<\/span><\/p>\n Participants will build skills and connections in this multi-day climate activism series. Learn about social justice issues, climate change, art activism, and build skills to make meaningful changes in your community.\u00a0 You will have the opportunity to screen print your own t-shirt and make lasting memories!<\/span><\/p>\n This multi-day workshop series is on the following dates in Coos Bay (<\/span>Location details will be provided after registration):<\/span><\/p>\n Youth Climate Activism Workshop: Session One Youth Climate Activism Workshop: Session Two We strongly encourage you to attend all workshops! <\/b>Participants who complete all workshops will receive a certificate of completion and a $25 stipend per session.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n Details:<\/span><\/strong> Application Information:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n If you are interested in applying, please submit your application<\/a> by June 10th.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>People of Color, trans and gender nonconforming people, people from poor and working-class backgrounds, disabled people, and women are encouraged to apply.<\/span><\/p>\n
