Rogue Climate has teamed up with Spark Northwest and other partners like the Oregon Renewable Energy Center and the Energy Trust of Oregon to offer the Energize program in Klamath County.
Energize Klamath offers a limited-time opportunity to reduce the regular price of a ductless heat pump by $700-$1,300. Ductless heat pumps use 25-50 percent less energy than traditional electric heating systems, resulting in lower utility bills and energy savings. They provide both heating and cooling, and are known for being very quiet, for maintaining steady temperature control, and for requiring minimal maintenance.
This nonprofit program is designed to simplify the installation process for customers, and to provide guidance on utility incentives offered by local utilities. This program has already resulted in 263 DHP installations, 19 new jobs, and thousands of dollars saved on energy bills in Coos, Douglas, Jackson and Josephine Counties.
To learn more and to be eligible for the Energize discount, the first step is to register for one of the three online workshops this summer.

Through a competitive process, a team of Klamath County residents and energy professionals selected the local installer Seasons Change as the installation partner for Energize Klamath.
At the workshops, participants will hear from installation professionals about ductless technology, learn about utility incentives and financing opportunities, and have an opportunity to ask questions to determine if a ductless heat pump makes sense for their home.
