Spring 2025 Community Organizing Youth Internship – Coos County
April 11 – May 31, 2025

Rogue Climate is excited to offer the 2025 Community Organizing Youth Internship for youth in Coos County aged 14-30 who want to make a change in their community around environmental and social justice issues. Interns will commit to working with Rogue Climate for 3-5 hours a week. Organization hours will be flexible to accommodate school and work schedules! There is a $500 stipend for completing the internship.

Apply by March 9th, 2025 for the opportunity to attend weekly workshops, learn hands-on community organizing skills, and join local campaigns for climate and social justice.

Please note that this internship is limited to 10 participants. The internship will run from April 11th to May 31st, 2025. Day of the week will either be Fridays from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM or Saturdays 10:00 AM – 12:30pm. There will be a question below for which day suits your schedule best. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and early applications are encouraged. Once you submit we will follow up to schedule an interview as soon as possible. Accepted applicants will be informed by March 24th, 2025
 
Project groups: In addition to the weekly workshops, all interns are required to spend 0.5 – 2 hours a week developing organizer skills by participating in one of our action teams. More information about project groups will be shared during the interview.
