Any and all people who’ve helped out during the fire recovery efforts are invited to an outdoor, social distanced celebration!
We’ve counted over 9,500 volunteer hours committed since September 8th to helping out neighbors, and that’s something to celebrate!
Join together Saturday, May 15 10-11:30 AM
for a celebration of all the volunteers (including you!) who’ve made a difference in the fire recovery for our community. We’re providing coffee, tea, pastries, and fruit!
From calling neighbors to check on them the day of the Almeda fire, to setting up pop-up tents over tables of donations in Talent center, to driving boxes between Living Waters and Oregon Shakespeare Festival, to rebagging dog food — your time and energy has helped our community make it through a tough time.
Let’s celebrate each other, take a breath (and a croissant) and re-energize for the next round of support.
Rogue Climate and Rogue Action Center are providing coffee, pastries, fruit, and fun.
Please wear a mask, and refrain from joining if you’ve felt ill in the past 7-10 days. (But let us know that you wanted to come!)
